Ready, Set, GO!

At this point in my life I feel that it’s a race to the altar or the fountain of youth. But don’t worry I can steer you in the right direction. I swear, I have a treasure map and it will lead us to the booty.

Don’t get me wrong. I believe in the sanctity of marriage and the vows before God and loved ones. It’s amazing when two people can find each other and just know that they want to spend the rest of their lives together.

That’s just bootiful…

But for some of us, specifically the ones that are at the singles table (I hope you are at the cool one)…. Here are a few classy pointers on how to be a gracious wedding guest.

1. As soon as you get the invite, RSVP as soon as possible. The bride has lots to do such as: finding a dress, a venue, and an officiant. The bride doesn’t have time to chase you down.

2. If the invite is addressed specifically and only to you, do not bring a guest. With wedding reception dinners running $40-200 a plate, the bride and the groom probably did not budget dinners for Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn aka the wedding crashers.

3. Don’t wear white. No, not even cream…

4. Don’t talk smack about anyone that is at the wedding, including the bride and groom. No one wants to see a fist fight during a wedding.

5. It is proper to mail your gift to the home of the bride and groom. It saves them the trouble of hauling gifts. Besides carrying a big gift will divert eyes from your cute wedding outfit!

6. Try to look presentable and classy. There may be people you haven’t seen for years (wedding are mini reunions) and you never know, wedding are treasure troves filled to the brim with eligible single bootys.

Hello Cyber Friends!

I wanted to pop on here to see what it is like from this side of the webpage and boy does it seem complicated! Well, it all started out when my friend (Sir Daniel Sung) insisted I try making a webpage, and being that I have bookmarked sites that I read religiously. I thought, “Hey! I too have things to share!”

Being a woman, I am aware of the numerous roles that we must play. With multiple engagements such as: family, friends, career, significant others, and life in general… I am amazing by our resilience.
Shoot, sometimes I feel like I need 5 hands and 40 hour days to finish everything on my plate and I don’t even have children!
