pink is for breast cancer awareness
Help save our breasts!
I don’t know what it is with breasts, but everyone loves them! Men, women, and especially babies. They are important to us, after all they feed and nourish future generations. Let’s do what we can to fight for a cure, a cure against cancer!
You can do your part by self examine your breasts. If performed properly self examination may help early detection of some types of cancers. However, self examination is not most efficient way for screening. If you don’t have hands, I am sure most guys will be willing to check them for you. All kidding aside, if you feel a new lump in one of your breasts, please see a medical professional immediately.
Unfortunately, many women cannot even afford a yearly mammograms, which is the most effective way of screening for breast cancer. You should start getting yearly mammograms after the age of 35. If breast cancer runs in your family, you may want to start getting mammograms at the age of 30.
By going www.thebreastcancersite.com and clicking the big pink button you can help fund mammograms to those that are less fortunate. You don’t need to send money, just open your browser and click away.
For the Yoplait yogurt eaters. For every pink lid you send in by December 31, 2008. Yoplait will donate 10 cents to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. See package for mailing details.

A change of perspective… Some things I have learned along the way.
Then… and NOW.
My mom doesn’t know what she’s talking about………… Could this be? Ahhhh! My mother was right. (Hi Mom! You can stop rubbing it in my face now).
A year is like FOREVER!………….. A lot can happen in a year. Life can happen in a year. Dang, time really flies.
Why do I need health insurance?…………….. Wealth cannot buy good health.
The party just started and everyone is single……………….. It’s 2 am now and the club lights are on. I don’t have beer goggles on and I don’t want to home solo (aka die alone).
Too shy to ask questions. Too nervous to say what I want to say…………. If I never ask, then I may never know the truth. Life is short; you may never have the same opportunity again.
Give me a few years, I can change him……………. He comes as is and I need to accept him for who he is. Change needs to be motivated within himself first.
Love is selfish and impatient………….. Love is accepting and patient. I want to be loved for who I am, not who I have to pretend to be.
Everyone makes mistakes. Ready, set, vent!……………. Everybody makes mistakes; you just got to learn from your mistakes and try not to make the same mistake over…
One on one dating is the norm…………….. Group dating is the new black. Apparently, we ran out of time to date on a one on one basis. (It’s called speed dating on crack.)
