“The Republican National Committe has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since late August.
According to financial disclosures, the accessorizing began in early September that included two bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74.
The records also document a couple of big time shopping trips to Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis, including one $75,062.63 spree in early September”.

It’s good to know that one of our VP Candidate (with a clothing stipend of $150k) looks like she can ride the back of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

There is no point in investing, unless you know the layout is “The One”.
That is what I had said to a fellow blogger whilst frantically looking for a new layout.
So, how y’all like Sassy’s new layout? Yay? Nay?
Ok, but really before ruling out if the layout is “The One”, you need to make sure the layout is compatible with: the author, the idea and blah blah blah… Make sure it’s not a square peg- round hole situation.
I had originally picked out a really sassy theme, but it ended up being incompatible with my WordPress plateau (if that is even the proper term). The girly theme was created for an older version of WordPress. Since I had a newer version of WordPress and the layout was for an older version.. It could of, should have, might have worked, maybe if we met a few years ago.
Picking up the remaining pieces and trying to rebuild, I decided on a black and white magazine theme. The theme was not very flashy but I thought maybe, just maybe. It ends up that it wouldn’t show any thumbnails and my site started to resemble a high tech coupon magazine *cough* pamphlet. That wasn’t what I was looking for.
So not classy…
I had to move on, to find a more compatible layout. The next one was such a tease… Tempted by the allure, I get onto the designer’s page to download (what I think would be the ideal theme for SassyFlashyClassy) and low and behold, no longer available. I sure missed that boat.
Why is it that looking for a layout reminds me of dating?
Finally, amongst all the incompatible layouts, I found this one!
It is compatible, kind of, sort of, well almost.
For those that are browsing with Internet Explorer, the right sidebars are a no show. Can you guys get to the next page? Can you see the categories? Or the tag cloud? If you can’t see the sidebars to navigate, check out about me to link up to previous pages and categories.
Internet Explorer and SassyFlashyClassy.com aren’t exactly compatible but at least the front page shows. At least the square peg kind of fits in the round hole.
Any suggestions?
