Calling all artists! This quaint little coffee shop is also a pending art gallery! Butter Tart is opening a gallery right next door on February 13, 2009. The cashier told me inquires are welcome.

The cafe is adorable and I welcome it’s presence especially since it comes bearing gifts such as WiFi. Butter Tart specializes in the Canadian treat of butter and sugar. You probably don’t want to order a butter tart if you are on a diet. Butter Tart also have: scones, cakes, cupcakes, and other savories such as empanadas. Each baked goody is about $2-3. Coffees and teas are on the menu as well.

Extended hours starting January 23, 2009 are: Mondays closed, Tuesday- Friday 7:30am- 2:30pm. Saturday & Sunday 8:00am- 3:00pm. They are also working on a lunch menu as well.
