I rarely go to Father’s Office to sober up yet this is where I ended up last night after my fling with Fling Bars at Shecky’s GNO.

As I had walked through the door I wished I had Kung Fu Ninja smuggled some ketchup in my bag. But the garlic aoili was very satisfactory for my dipping pleasure. Shhh! Don’t tell anyone but sometimes, after manhandling my bulbs and cloves, I like to smell my hands (for days, the smell just lingers for days). I dunno why garlic gets me so giddy.

Want to know what else gets me giddy?

Premium ground beef with caramelized onions, bacon, gruyere, maytag blue (very subtle) and arugula gets me giddy. Bam! Bacon makes everything better. Bacon with caramelized onions with a side of garlic fries. Very very nice. 

Father’s Office is a small gastro pub with limited seating, beer on draft, and ketchup is a no show. Street parking is ideal.
