The name of this restaurant always has me thinking of Pamela Anderson and her barbed wire arm tattoo. Luckily, the food at Barbrix is fabulous.

This quaint little addition to Silver Lake is a very low key tapas style restaurant and bar. Barbrix is perfect for a casual first date and casual outings with friends. Barbrix is in a renovated home which is tucked towards the back of an obscure parking lot.
In other words, it was darned hard to find. We had passed Barbrix 3 times before finding it.
Finding Barbrix was almost as hard as the coconuts that fell on Gilligan’s head. Ginger and Mary Anne proved to be distracting, even the Professor couldn’t find away to get off the island.

But really Barbrix is on the same side (and across the street from that ”boat“), Barbrix is north of Tracey.
No really it is. Just pull into the teeny tiny obscure parking lot entrance and tada! You can now start your three hour dinner.
Glasses of wine range from $6-10 dollars and the cheapest bottle starts at $21. Not bad. Just don’t drink and steer your ship onto an iceberg.
