Fall 2009 Fashion is together, tough or a togetherly tough (think rock star chic). However, color is still key; pastels will give away to earthier and bolder shades.
Pale lavenders will evolve into royal purples. Pinks will even step up their game, turning smoldering hot in shades of fushia to berry.
Red will stay very strong. However, the reds will take on a deeper cooler tone instead of the warmer tomato~y shade
Tweeds and wools are two of the hottest trends of the season. Although tweed can be worn year round, it is best suited for fall and winter weather. From business casual to the cocktail hour, tweed and wool can tie your outfit together. Remember timeless is key. Think structured, sophisticated and sexy.
(Remember that the key to this trend is to invest in high quality, well-designed pieces that will last a lifetime. Buy to fit your frame!)
Another great fall look will be tight fitting pencil skirts. The length, however, will differ depending on the preference and taste of the lady, who will be wearing them. They will range from minis all the way to knee, mid-calf or lower.
Another big hit this fall will be metallic colors. The main metallics to watch for will be stainless steel, silver and platinum.
Iron Grays, taupes, and warm cream tones will serve as neutral shades for the fall palette. Without doubt, off white and black will proceed to find their places among every closet. Traditional black and white colors continue to be as powerful as ever.
Fall 2009 fashion has taken on an “anything goes” style as women chose: together, tough or a combination of the two.

I love the Sherman Oaks Farmer’s Market on Tuesdays. Why? Ho hum, well because the Sherman Oaks Farmer’s Market has damn good food.
I enjoy the rotisserie chicken and garlic potatoes by Grill Masters. Just smack me with a clove of garlic, and I will love you for a long time. Better yet cut the top of the bulb, drizzle some olive oil over it, and let it roast. I honestly have no idea why garlic gets me so giddy.
At first, I couldn’t believe how moist and juicy my chicken was.
When my chicken gets this wet. I like to mop up the juices up with this.
If you don’t feel like rotisserie chicken, there is also this BBQ stand that has tasty mac and cheese.
Tons to chose from: kebabs, empanadas, roasted corn, soups, and more. Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses when you see the flower vendor.
If you are in the market for reasonably priced jewelry. I will also be at the Sherman Oaks Farmer’s Market this Tuesday, May 12th to showcase my jewelry with I Heart Kayden.
