I thought this maxi dress was adorable and reminded me a lot of my I Heart Kayden’s Bettie Dress. However, the Sjobeck version had a gathered halter neckline and a criss cross exposed back. This dress would make very sexy beach cover up that is both day and night appropriate.

Good grief, this model can wash Sjobeck’s swimming trunks off his abs.

I just took a quick peep at Valerj Pobega and I fell in love with this dress from her fall 08 collection. Her spring 09 collection is a bit goth flapper.

Once pegged the “Costume Designer” all the girls couldn’t help but admire.

Durability, two seemingly different girls came together during a tough time, also known as high school. Years passed and attitutdes changed yet these girls were able to form a very tight knit bond. From college dorm mates to sisters and now, partners.

Terri, “The Globe Trotter”, wanted more out of life. After pursuing her Juris Doctorate, she decided that she needed and wanted much more. Enriched with different cultures, the ideas and different ideologies (and racking her brain over what to wear while traveling), spun the wheels of the cotton gin. Fashion, she came to realize was another passion she had to follow.

Functional and fashionable Min, has finally poked her head through the cloth to design this fun, flirty and flattering line. After numerous stints on unique custom orders since 1999 (amazing Halloween costumes included) and with Terri’s encouragement, these two amazing women came together to bring us the Kayden Collection. It is still a scorching 90 degrees here in sunny Los Angeles, the leaves haven’t even changed color, nor is the sun setting earlier. Yet, the fashion industry keeps on spinning their innovative wheels and that in turn, keeps me on my heels. I can’t wait to see what my favorite designers are going to be coming out with!

For anyone that is in New York during September 5th through the 12th and has a chance to check the Spring 2009 Collection at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is damned lucky! For the rest of you New Yorkers, watch out for the traffic and keep on trucking.

I am sOo tempted to register and try to get a press pass. But really, rejection this early in the morning is not my thing. So I will just sit here and drool over the schedule.
