This past weekend I went to check out the Vanity Fair Portraits at the LACMA. The exhibit was awesome! I think Annie Leibovitz is my all time favorite photographer!
The Vanity Fair Portraits exhibit is free, with purchase of general admission to the LACMA. Check out the exhbit if you want to take a peep at some of Annie Leibovitz’s work.
Here is a blurry picture I was lucky to smuggle out of the exhibit.
Stop it! I know I am not Annie Leibovitz! But yeah, I took that picture with my phone, not bad for a camera phone huh?
On a side note, last year, Disney commissioned photos by Annie Leibovitz, for a “Year of a Million Dreams” campaign. That campaign was huge and featured hot entertainers. Here are two of them… (Unfortunately, these were not shown at the exhibit).
Anyhooz. You can become an “active member” of the LACMA for $49 (regularly $90) it also includes a year subscription to Vanity Fair Magazine. Membership includes free admission to all exhibitions, priority access, and discounts at the store. LACMA membership discount code: GLORIA by October 31, 2008.
To purchase, CLICK HERE and chose option “ACTIVE”. Use code: GLORIA
(LACMA offers free admission after 5pm, donations are appreciated).
